Who We Are
August Consulting is a leading corporate and financial communications consultancy backed by a successful track record of more than 20 years.
Specialising in corporate communications, investor relations, media relations, and issues and reputation management, our clients include foreign and local multinationals, listed companies, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in a wide range of industries.
As one of the pioneers in the investor relations arena, we have helped more than 200 companies launch their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) since 1992, and continue to be a major player in the IPO communications market today. We are also the first investor relations agency in Singapore to work on the listing of a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC), which was listed on NASDAQ in 2019.
Our industry knowledge goes beyond the Singapore market. Through our in-house expertise and associate networks, we have developed and executed communication strategies in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Australia and Indonesia.
We have built a market reputation for service quality through our commitment to client servicing, a firm grasp of corporate and financial matters, and strong media and investors’ ties. Our History
In 1992, Mr Alan Lee, our Managing Partner, started a joint venture with US-based agency, Fleishman Hillard, in Singapore. Using his experience as a former investment banker and Executive Editor of the Business Times, he built a communications firm that is committed to providing strategic counsel and quality work to our clients. Our results-oriented approach has enabled us to establish ourselves as one of the leading corporate and financial communications specialists in Singapore today.

Acquired by BSMG, part of True North group, and became known as Scotchbrook-BSMG.
1995
Became independent as Scotchbrook Communications with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
1992
Joint venture with Fleishman-Hillard in Singapore known as Fleishman-Hillard Scotchbrook.
