Secura’s subsidiary moves into mobile forensics through collaboration with Israel-based Cellebrite

Cellebrite, a leading mobile forensics company, appoints Soverus Technology as preferred reseller for Singapore, Cambodia and Laos

– Collaboration marks the Group’s expansion of its homeland security product and service offerings

SINGAPORE, 30 September 2016 – Secura Group Limited (新保安集团有限公司) (“Secura”or the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), one of the leading providers of security products, services and solutions in Singapore, today announced that Soverus Technology Pte Ltd (“Soverus”), its wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a collaboration agreement with Israel-based Cellebrite Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (“Cellebrite”), a leading mobile forensics company.

Under this collaboration agreement, Soverus has the rights to sell, promote and market Cellebrite’s products in Singapore as its primary market, and Cambodia and Laos as its secondary markets. Soverus will be the only preferred reseller of Cellebrite’s products in these three countries for a period of three years, which commenced on 28 September 2016.

This collaboration marks the expansion of Secura’s homeland security product and service offerings to include the mobile forensics market, where the Asia-Pacific Market is expected to grow from USD 27.9 million in 2015 to USD 49.9 million in 2020.

This is a perfect complement to our cyber security business, homeland security business and investigative services business to serve the growing demand for such services from the IT, security, enforcement, defence, telecommunications and banking sectors.”

Cellebrite offers mobile device evidence extraction software and is one of the few companies in the world which has the capability to unlock, completely extract and decode the newer series of Apple iPhones and Android phones.
